Home Screen Help

Overview

The Home screen (member.unlockos.io/{facility-slug}) is the main screen after logging in. It shows your current membership information, remaining usage quota, and the list of facility spaces available for check-in. If you have multiple active subscriptions, a header and quota block are shown for each one. Tap a SpaceCard to start a check-in session. While checked in, the session panel displays the elapsed time and your entry key. Near the bottom of the screen, a ticket book purchase catalog appears if the facility has any on sale (purchasable even without an active membership).

Detailed Features

Feature 1: Pending Payment Banner

If your membership application has been approved by the facility but payment has not yet been completed, a banner appears at the very top of the screen (above the session panel and membership header).

Item Description
Title "Your membership application has been approved"
Message The approved plan name, with a prompt to complete payment
Button Proceed to payment — resumes the signup payment flow

This banner can appear even if you already have another active subscription (for example, when you have applied for a second plan). If multiple applications are awaiting payment, a banner is shown for each one.

Once payment is completed, the banner disappears and the new subscription becomes active.

Feature 1.5: Pending Plan Change Banner

When you request a change to a plan that requires facility approval (see Feature 7.5), a dedicated banner appears in the same place as the pending-payment banner — at the very top of the screen, above the membership header.

Item Description
Title "Change to '(target plan name)' awaiting review"
Message "The facility will review your request. Once approved, your plan will switch immediately."
Continued-billing note (shown only when your current plan is paid) "Your current plan will continue to be billed until approval. Once approved, the new plan takes effect and billing for the current plan stops. (Billing before approval is not refunded.)"
Button Cancel change request

If your current plan is free (¥0), the continued-billing note is not shown.

Tapping Cancel change request cancels the request immediately, with no confirmation dialog. Once cancelled, your current plan continues unchanged, and the "Change requested" badge on the target plan's card disappears as well.

If the cancellation fails, a message reads "We couldn't cancel the change request. Please try again shortly." Your current plan is unaffected, so you can wait and try again, or contact the facility.

Once the facility approves the change request, the banner disappears automatically and the new plan becomes active (billing for your current plan stops). If the request is declined, your current plan also continues unchanged.

Feature 2: Membership Header

The header below any pending-payment banners shows your current plan details.

Item Description
Plan Name The name of your active membership plan
Valid Until The end date of your current billing period (e.g., ~ 2026/06/01)

If you have multiple active subscriptions, a separate header block is shown for each one so no subscription is ever hidden.

If you do not have an active membership, a "No membership" message is shown along with available plans for the facility. Tap a plan to be taken to the signup page.

Feature 3: Quota Bar (Usage Progress)

If your membership plan has usage limits (quotas), your current usage is displayed as progress bars. Units are shown in the app's current language (e.g., "回" for check-in counts, "時間" for hours in Japanese).

Quota Type Description
Monthly check-ins Check-ins used / limit for this month
Daily hours Cumulative usage hours today / daily limit
Monthly bookings Time slot bookings used / limit for this month

This section is hidden if your plan has no quota limits. If you have multiple active subscriptions, a quota block is shown for each one directly below its membership header.

Overage behavior: If the overage policy is "block," check-in is rejected once the limit is reached. If the policy is "charge," overages are billed separately (a note is shown on screen).

Feature 3.5: Reservation Plan Section

If your membership plan is linked to a reservation (booking) plan, a Reservation plan section appears on the Home screen.

If one membership plan targets multiple reservation plans (e.g. both a free-quota plan and an after-hours discount plan), one card is shown for each reservation plan it targets.

Each card shows:

  • A representative image for the plan (facility photos, or an auto-generated illustration if none are set)

  • The reservation plan's own name (not the membership plan's name — so if one membership targets several reservation plans, each card shows a different, distinguishable name. Only for older data where the reservation plan itself has no name does the card fall back to showing the membership plan's name)

  • A badge (shown when there is more than one card)

    Badge Meaning
Member · Free This plan is covered by your membership's free quota — booked at ¥0
For members This plan is offered to members, but is billed at the normal price (e.g. an after-hours discount plan)
  • The facility name

  • Open Reservation Plan button

The badge means the same thing as the "applicable plan badge" described in the Member-Only Plans help, but the wording differs by screen: this Home screen card shows "Member · Free" / "For members", while the Booking app's plan list shows "会員無料" (Member Free) / "会員割引" (Member Discount).

Tapping the button opens the Booking app with that plan pre-selected.

This section is hidden when your membership plan has no associated reservation plan.

Which Reservation Setting It Opens

The Booking app works on a "one URL = one reservation setting" basis. A Home screen card specifies only the plan, so the Booking app works out for itself which reservation setting actually sells that plan, and lands there.

  • Only one reservation setting carries the plan → it opens in that setting
  • Several reservation settings carry the same plan → the one designated as default under Base Settings › Go Portal Display Settings wins, provided it is one of them
  • Several carry it and none of them is the default setting → the earliest-created reservation setting is used. Unintended conditions can apply this way, so keep member plans to a single setting
  • It cannot be determined (the plan was deleted, for example) → the facility's default reservation setting opens, with the notice "This link's reservation plan is currently unavailable"

This means that when you keep a separate reservation setting for members, the conditions specific to that setting — such as how far ahead bookings may be made — apply to members. See "Changing Booking Conditions for Members Only" in the Membership Setup Guide for how to set this up.

Which Reservation Plans Are Shown

Reservation plan cards on the Home screen (this section, and any other reservation plan list at the facility) only include plans a guest can actually complete a booking for. The following are never shown:

Excluded plan Why
Logically deleted plans A deleted plan can no longer be booked
Plans not actually reachable through any booking entrance For entrances that use room-type × plan mappings, only plans with an active mapping are included. For older entrances with no mapping rows at all, the entrance's own configured plan list is used instead
Plans that exist only as a billing configuration for a membership plan or Check-in Config These can look like an ordinary reservation plan, but they are not meant for booking. Deleting one will break that membership's billing or that Check-in Config's check-in — do not delete it

This filtering used to apply to only some of the lists, so a facility that doesn't run the booking service could see a card on its member home screen that led nowhere when tapped. All lists now use the same rule.

Members-Only Plans

A plan the facility marked members only is listed, not hidden, whether or not you can use it, and its card carries a "Members only" badge. If you are not one of the members it is for, the card shows "Available to members only" instead of the Open reservation plan button, and it cannot be opened. See Member-Only Plans and Booking Badges for details.

Feature 4: Space List (SpaceCard)

The spaces associated with your membership plan are shown as a card grid.

Each card displays:

  • Space image (facility photos, or an auto-generated illustration if no photos are set)
  • Space name
  • Linked plan name
  • Remaining quota (shown only when a limit applies)
  • Check in here button

If multiple photos are set, swipe left or right to browse them. Tapping a real photo opens a lightbox view.

Feature 5: Checking In

Tap the Check in here button on a SpaceCard to start a check-in session.

During check-in processing

  • The button is disabled while processing
  • After a successful check-in, your entry key (QR code) is automatically shown in a popup
  • The session panel appears at the top of the screen and a timer starts

Session Panel while checked in

Item Description
In Use Green indicator showing you are currently checked in
Check-in time When you checked in and which space
Elapsed time A real-time counter
Show QR button Re-opens the entry key modal
Check Out button Opens the checkout confirmation dialog

Feature 6: Entry Key Display

After checking in, or any time you tap Show QR, the entry key modal appears.

Key Type Description
QR Code Hold your phone in front of the smart lock reader to unlock
PIN Code Enter the digits on a keypad to unlock
Remote Unlock Tap the button in the app to unlock remotely (supported facilities only)

Keys have an expiry time. The key is refreshed automatically when it is close to expiry. You can also tap the refresh button manually.

Feature 7: Checking Out

Tap the Check Out button to open a confirmation dialog.

  1. Tap Check Out to confirm
  2. After checkout is complete, an exit QR key may be displayed
  3. The session panel disappears and you return to the Home screen

Note: Checkout cannot be undone. Please confirm before proceeding.

Feature 7.5: Requesting a Change to Another Membership Plan

If you want to switch from your current plan to a different one, you can do so from the Membership plans section near the bottom of the screen. For members with an active subscription, this list is collapsed by default — tap the Other membership plans link to expand it.

Each plan card in the list shows a badge reflecting your own status on that plan.

Badge Meaning
Joined Your currently active plan
Leaving You have cancelled, but the plan stays active until the end of the current billing period
Awaiting payment A separate approved application awaiting your payment
Under review A separate application awaiting the facility's review
Change requested A request to switch to this plan is awaiting facility review (this feature)

If a card shows a Change to this plan button, tap it to start the change process.

If the target plan does not require facility approval, the switch happens immediately instead of going through a request. The steps below describe what happens when the target plan does require facility approval (Apply first).

Steps to Request a Change (for a plan that requires facility approval)

  1. Tap Change to this plan on the plan you want to switch to
  2. If the plan requires additional information, fill out the form
  3. If your current plan is paid, review the note that reads "Your current plan will continue to be billed until approval. Once approved, the new plan takes effect and billing for the current plan stops. (Billing before approval is not refunded.)"
  4. Tap Submit change request
  5. A confirmation screen reads "Change request received." Tap Go Home to return to the Home screen

After you submit the request, the target plan's card shows a "Change requested" badge and no further action is available on the card. To cancel the request, use the dedicated banner at the top of the Home screen (see Feature 1.5: Pending Plan Change Banner).

If you already have another application or review in progress for a different plan, the card reads "Another plan's application is in progress. You can change plans once it completes," and you cannot change to that plan yet. Complete or cancel the other application first.

Feature 8: Buying a Ticket Book

Near the bottom of the screen (below the plan list section), a purchase catalog appears if the facility has any ticket books on sale. It is shown regardless of your membership status, so a guest with no membership can still purchase a ticket book on its own.

  • If the facility has no ticket books on sale, this section does not appear
  • Each product card shows its name, description, unit (count/hours), quantity (or hours), and price
  • A members-only ticket book shows a "Members only" chip with a lock icon. If you are not subscribed to an eligible membership plan, the card reads "Members only can purchase this" instead of a Buy button, and you cannot purchase it
  • A book that has reached its total sales limit shows "Sold Out" and cannot be purchased by anyone (checked before the members-only condition)
  • Tapping Buy opens Stripe checkout. Once payment settles, the balance is issued to your account
  • A product you've already reached the purchase limit for is shown as "Purchased" and cannot be bought again (only shown when the book is neither sold out nor members-only-locked for you)
  • After a purchase completes, you are taken to the Ticket Books page (/{facility-slug}/tickets) where you can see your balance

You can also check your ticket book balance and buy more from the Ticket Books card on My Page. See the Ticket Books help for details.

Feature 9: When You Open the App from LINE (Linking Your Member Account)

Opening the app from the facility's LINE menu signs you in with your LINE account. That is separate from the account you registered with by email, so your membership plan and member prices do not apply yet. If a Members card appears at the top of the screen, link your accounts once.

  1. Tap Verify email and link
  2. Enter the email address you registered with and tap Send code
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and tap Link

The screen switches to your membership right away, and from then on opening the app from LINE signs you in as a member. A notice is sent to the linked email address. You can remove the link from My Page.

  • If you see "The code is wrong or has expired.", send a new code and enter the latest one
  • If you see "This account cannot be linked to LINE.", that email address belongs to an account that cannot be linked. Please contact the facility
  • If you see "This account is already linked to another LINE account.", one member account can be linked to only one LINE account (this also applies across the operator's facilities that use a different LINE official account). Remove the existing link from My Page first, then link again
  • If you see "This LINE account is already linked to another member account.", one LINE account can be linked to only one member account (this also applies across the operator's facilities that use a different LINE official account). Remove the link from My Page on the linked account, then link again
  • When you remove a link, check-ins you started while it was active stay with the linked account; they do not move back to LINE
  • The card appears only when you open the app from LINE, and not at facilities that have no membership plans
  • Closing the card with the × in its top-right corner hides it for that facility on this device. If you want to link later, use the card shown on My Page

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: A "Your membership application has been approved" banner is shown

Your application has been approved by the facility, but payment is not yet complete. Tap Proceed to payment to complete the signup flow. Until payment is completed, the subscription is not active and the banner will remain.

Q: A "Change to '...' awaiting review" banner is shown

You have requested a change to another plan, and it is awaiting the facility's review. Once approved, your plan switches automatically. To withdraw the request, tap Cancel change request on the banner.

Q: A plan card shows a "Change requested" badge and I can't tap anything

You have already requested a change to that plan, so no further action is available on the card. To withdraw the request, use Cancel change request on the banner at the top of the Home screen.

Q: What happens to my current plan if I cancel a change request?

Nothing changes. Your current plan continues to be active as before.

Q: No spaces are shown

Your membership plan may not be linked to any facility entrance configurations. Please contact the facility.

Q: Why do I see multiple reservation plan cards?

If your membership plan targets more than one reservation plan, one card is shown for each. Each card's title is that reservation plan's own name, so together with the badge (Member · Free / For members) you can tell them apart.

Q: The Check in button does not respond

If you are already checked in, you cannot start another session. Check out first.

Q: My quota has reached 0 and I cannot check in

You have used all your check-ins for this month. The quota resets at the start of the next billing period. Contact the facility if you need a quota increase.

Q: The QR key is not showing

Check your network connection. If the connection is fine, reload the page and tap Show QR again.

Q: The ticket book catalog is not showing

This section automatically hides when the facility has not enabled ticket books, or has no ticket books currently on sale. Contact the facility if you believe this is unexpected.

Troubleshooting

Check-in is stuck on "Processing"

Reload the page. In some cases your session will be restored automatically. If the issue persists, contact the facility.

An "In Use" session appears when you open the page

If you closed the app without checking out in a previous session, the session may still be active. Tap Check Out to end it properly.
